Vision Partners with Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club to Launch The Riverly—A New Standard in Seniors Living

The Riverly seniors living community exterior render, Ryde NSW

Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club has partnered with Vision Lifestyle Projects (Vision) to bring to life The Riverly, a new seniors residential community that will redefine retirement living in the Ryde area. This exciting partnership brings together the club’s deep community connections with Vision’s specialist expertise in seniors living to create something truly exceptional for older Australians seeking quality independent living in Sydney’s northwest.

With Development Application approval secured, construction is expected to commence in early 2026, with completion scheduled for June 2028. The Riverly will comprise 87 spacious, light-filled apartments, with options including one, two, and three-bedrooms, as well as one-bedroom plus study and two-bedroom plus study layouts.

The Riverly residents will enjoy a range of on-site amenities, including landscaped gardens, communal spaces, alfresco entertaining areas, barbecue facilities, multi-purpose rooms for resident-led classes, an on-site library, and access to the Club’s Fitness Edge health and aquatic centre. Located opposite Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club and close to public transport, shopping, and healthcare, The Riverly offers an active, convenient, and welcoming lifestyle.

Overwhelming Community Response

The response from the community has been overwhelming. More than 400 people attended the recent launch events, reflecting the growing demand for quality, connected living options for over 55s in the Ryde-Eastwood area. To meet this continuing interest, weekly Information Sessions are now being held every Tuesday at 10:30 am in the Hawks Lounge at Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club.

Residents enjoy the freedom of their own home, plus seamless access to aged-care support in the same location —an increasingly rare combination in Sydney’s west. Community lounges, a café, hair salon and regular outings keep life vibrant, while 24/7 monitored help systems deliver peace of mind.

Several Years in the Making

Vision has been working alongside Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club for several years, providing advisory services including market research and product and service design to ensure The Riverly meets the evolving needs of older Australians. This collaborative approach has allowed us to deeply understand both the community and what modern seniors living should deliver.

“The Riverly will deliver a vibrant and connected environment where residents and their families can live exceptional lives, with the services and facilities older Australians desire right at their fingertips,” says John Burgess, Managing Director of Vision Lifestyle Projects. “Our vision is that every resident, whatever ‘living exceptionally’ means for them, can achieve it here.”

Located directly opposite Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club, The Riverly will provide residents with easy access to a true community hub—a place where connection, celebration and belonging have been part of the club’s DNA for decades.

Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club CEO Carl Pozzato sees The Riverly as a natural extension of the club’s role in the local area. “For decades our members have looked to the club as a place to connect with their community, to celebrate, and to belong. The Riverly is about taking that same spirit and applying it to the way our community experiences retirement,” he says.
